Each year the Burn Center at Saint Barnabas Healthcare System hosts a firefighter ski race in northern New Jersey. Firefighters from around the state come together for a great cause and a whole bunch of fun. Five member teams wearing full firefighting gear participate in a slalom race carrying a length of fire hose. The fastest time receives a trophy and bragging rights for the entire year.
